Your Privacy Matters

We are committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and CalOPPA. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our career analysis service.

Last updated: January 31, 2026

Effective for all users of: CareerHelp (https://www.careerhelp.top)

Transparency

We clearly explain what data we collect and how we use it to provide you with the best career analysis experience.

Security

Your personal information is protected with industry-standard security measures and encryption protocols.

Control

You have full control over your data, including the ability to access, update, or delete your information.

Information We Collect

A. Personal Information You Provide

We collect the following when you voluntarily provide it:

  • Account Data: Your name and email address if you create an account.
  • Job Descriptions: Text or URLs of job postings you submit for AI analysis.
  • Optional Inputs: Career goals, industry preferences, or self-assessed skill levels.
  • Payment Details: Processed securely via Creem. We do not store your full credit card number.

Note: If you are not logged in, job descriptions you analyze are not linked to your identity and are automatically deleted within 24 hours.

B. Automatically Collected Data

When you visit our site, we may automatically collect:

  • Technical Logs: IP address, browser type, operating system, device model, and screen resolution.
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, and error reports.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: Used to remember preferences, improve functionality, measure usage, and support advertising where permitted by your consent choices.

How We Use Your Information and Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process your data only for legitimate purposes:

To provide career analysis and save your reports: This is necessary to fulfill our service contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
To improve our AI models and fix technical issues: Based on our legitimate interest in enhancing service quality (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
To process payments and manage subscriptions: Required to execute your purchase (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
To send service-related communications: Necessary for legal or contractual obligations.
To analyze anonymous usage trends: Only with your consent for non-essential cookies.
To serve, limit, and measure advertising: Google AdSense and advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, browser/device data, and similar identifiers to deliver ads, prevent abuse, measure ad performance, and, where consented or otherwise permitted, personalize ads.

Important: We do not sell your personal information and we do not provide your job descriptions, resumes, LinkedIn profile text, or account content to advertisers for ad targeting. Third-party advertising providers may process limited device, usage, cookie, IP address, and ad interaction data as described below. We do not process sensitive personal data (such as race, health, or political views) unless you voluntarily provide it for a specific purpose.

Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

With Service Providers:

Trusted partners like Creem (payments), Vercel and Cloudflare (hosting), Google Analytics (analytics), and Google AdSense (advertising delivery, fraud prevention, and ad measurement) help us operate CareerHelp. They process data according to their service terms, privacy commitments, and applicable data protection requirements.

With Advertising Partners:

Google and third-party advertising vendors may place or read cookies, use web beacons, receive your IP address, browser/device information, page URL, and ad interaction signals, and use that information to serve, limit, personalize where permitted, and measure ads. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to CareerHelp and/or other sites. You can manage Google ad personalization in Google Ad Settings and through our cookie consent banner where available.

For Legal Compliance:

If required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

In Business Transfers:

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred with continued privacy protections.

With Your Consent:

Only when you explicitly agree.

CCPA/CPRA Notice: We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not disclose your job descriptions, resumes, LinkedIn profile text, or account content to advertisers. Some advertising cookies or similar technologies may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under CPRA when personalized ads are enabled. You can opt out of non-essential advertising cookies through our cookie banner where available, Google Ad Settings, or by contacting vip@careerhelp.top.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies to enhance your experience:

Essential Cookies

Enable core functions like login sessions and security. These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled.

Analytics Cookies

Used by Google Analytics 4 to understand anonymous site usage (IP addresses are anonymized). Stored for up to 2 years.

Preference Cookies

Remember settings like dark mode. Stored for up to 1 year.

Advertising Cookies

Google AdSense and advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads.

Google Advertising and Ad Choices: Third parties, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to CareerHelp or other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ad Settings and manage non-essential cookies through our consent banner where available. Users in the EEA, UK, and other regions requiring consent will be asked for consent before non-essential advertising or analytics cookies are used.

CalOPPA Notice: We do not respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals from browsers. This is because there is no standardized industry response to DNT, and our analytics are non-identifiable and used solely to improve our service.

You can manage or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or via our cookie consent banner shown on your first visit.
